Your Travel Assignment
Who Is a Traveler?
Travelers are hired to work in short-term assignments, usually to address critical staffing shortages. The period of assignment typically lasts for 6 to 8 weeks, the longest being 13 weeks. Being a traveling nurse allows a professional to make good money while having the chance to work in different states and places of the professional’s choosing. They can choose to renew their contract or move to a different assignment once their contract ends. As a medical staffing agency, we recommend to nurses who are interested in this position to have a minimum of 12 months recent acute care clinical experience so they can be comfortable to work in this environment. We encourage our employees to demonstrate their best core values, be highly engaged, and be open and willing to work through any change on any assignment.
